The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) is spearheading the development of Taloja through several major infrastructure projects. These include the construction of new roads, bridges, public amenities, and the operational Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 — all designed to enhance connectivity and ease of living.

Key Connectivity Projects Powering Growth
Taloja’s connectivity is being strengthened through multiple upcoming and ongoing infrastructure projects:
- Mumbai Metro Line 12 (Kalyan–Dombivli–Taloja Line): Will connect Kalyan to Taloja, cutting travel time by nearly 45 minutes.
- Kharghar–Turbhe Tunnel Road Project: Will provide direct and faster connectivity between Kharghar and Turbhe.
- Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1: Already operational, offering smooth travel between Taloja and CBD Belapur.
- Proximity to Navi Mumbai International Airport & MTHL (Atal Setu): Travel time expected to be approximately 30 minutes.

Bridges Enhancing Kharghar–Taloja Link
Two key projects — the Pendhar Road Over Bridge (ROB) and the Taloja River Bridge — are nearing completion and will play a major role in improving regional mobility.
The Pendhar ROB includes a dedicated Foot Over Bridge for pedestrians with landings at three convenient points:
- Near the National Highway (Kharghar end)
- Adjacent to the Diva–Panvel railway line
- At the Taloja end
Once both bridges are fully operational, they will provide seamless connectivity between Kharghar and Taloja, giving direct access to NH-04 and eliminating railway level crossings.
