महाराष्ट्र सरकार आणि बंगळुरूस्थित प्रेस्टिज ग्रुप यांच्यात ₹12,500 कोटींच्या गुंतवणुकीचा करार झाला आहे. या अंतर्गत तळोजा (नवी मुंबई) येथे ₹5,000 कोटींचा भव्य डेटा सेंटर कॅम्पस उभारला जाणार असून 1,200 पेक्षा अधिक रोजगार निर्मिती होणार आहे. तसेच नवी मुंबईत ग्लोबल कॅपेबिलिटी सेंटर आणि खळापुर येथे मेगा लॉजिस्टिक व औद्योगिक केंद्र उभारले जाणार आहे.
The Government of Maharashtra has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bengaluru-based real estate giant Prestige Group to invest over ₹12,500 crore in key infrastructure projects across the state.
A significant portion of this investment — approximately ₹5,000 crore — will go toward developing a large-scale data center campus in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, positioning Maharashtra as a national leader in digital infrastructure. The state’s growing data ecosystem will be further strengthened through this project, which will include commercial, residential, and allied developments. Construction is expected to commence in 2026, creating over 1,200 direct employment opportunities.
In addition, the remaining funds will be directed toward the development of a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Navi Mumbai and a Mega Logistics and Industrial Centre at Khalapur.
Commenting on this strategic collaboration, Zayd Noaman, Executive Director of Prestige Group, said:
“Our focus on logistics, data centers, and GCC parks aligns with Maharashtra’s strategic priorities and will drive transformative growth for the state.”
Prestige Group, renowned for its extensive portfolio across residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors, has been rapidly expanding into the data infrastructure space. The company previously partnered with NTT in 2023 to build a 100MW data center campus in Bengaluru.

Maharashtra — particularly Mumbai and Navi Mumbai — remains a prime destination for global data players like NTT, STT GDC, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Between 2016 and 2022, AWS invested $3.7 billion in its Mumbai cloud region and has pledged an additional $8.3 billion for future expansion.
This landmark collaboration between the Maharashtra Government and Prestige Group is expected to accelerate the state’s digital transformation, boost employment, and attract more global investments into its rapidly evolving infrastructure ecosystem.
