The Kokan Meet – July 2025, held at Success International School, Taloja, was a heartfelt and impactful gathering organized by the Kokan Educational Welfare Development Association, Taloja. The event brought together hundreds of Kokani families, professionals, students, and social leaders with a common goal — to build a stronger, more connected, and empowered Kokan community.
Mr. Iqbal Kaware – President of Lion’s Club, Navi Mumbai, Chairman of National Integration & Culture Association, Chairman of NMMC Transport Commitee. He is a highly respected and multi-faceted personality known for his dedicated service across social, political, and community platforms.
Mr. Shoeb Surve, Director of Success Education Society Taloja, Success International School Taloja & Success Coaching Classes Taloja – is a dynamic educationist and passionate social leader dedicated to community upliftment and student empowerment, hosted the event beautifully.
A Community Coming Together for a Common Cause
The event began with warm introductions and blessings from respected elders of the community, emphasizing unity, culture, and collective progress. The central message of the event revolved around education, career development, women empowerment, and economic collaboration within the Kokani community.
Mr. Masdar Mullaji – Chairman of Poor Boys Fund Committee at Success Education Society, Taloja, delivered a wonderful speech at the Kokan meet July 2025.

Visionary Address by Community Leaders: Several speakers addressed the gathering, urging the Kokani community to focus on education, competitive exams like JEE, NEET & UPSC, and entrepreneurship. They emphasized the importance of youth development and called upon every family to support their children’s dreams and talents.
Iqbal Sharf Mukaddam – A renowned literary figure, social worker, and agriculture enthusiast from Konkan delivered an amazing speech. He has made a remarkable impact across literature, farming, and community service, and has been honored with prestigious awards like the Kaifi Azmi Poetry Award, Munshi Premchand Hindi Sahitya National Award, Kokan Deep Sahitya Award, and many more.
Mr Ashraf Tambe – President of Makhtab -e- Alnoor, most popular social worker in Taloja also graced us with his prescence.
Women’s Empowerment: A special session was dedicated to the role of Kokani women in modern society, encouraging mothers and sisters to pursue skills like English-speaking, digital marketing, and small-scale online businesses. The message was clear – empowering women strengthens the entire community.
Mr. Munir Tisekar – A Bank manager, lawyer, advocate, a social leader – a visionary and highly respected person, also gave an inspiring speech.
Youth & Career Guidance: Students were guided about preparing for national-level entrance exams and making smart career choices. Success Coaching Classes shared insights into effective study techniques, test strategies, and long-term academic planning.
Mr. Shamim Chougle – Member of Kokan Global Foundation & Founder & member of Konkani Hostel, Nerul & Panvel delivered a beautiful speech.
Business Networking & Support: The program provided a platform for local Kokani entrepreneurs and professionals to connect. Attendees were encouraged to support each other’s businesses and form a self-reliant economic network within the community.
Educational Aid & Social Work: Organizers reiterated their ongoing mission to support underprivileged students through scholarships, free coaching, and educational counseling. The Council also shared future plans for monthly programs and community outreach.
