🟢 TALOJA NODE | Free Eye-Check Camp Marks Gandhi Jayanti Week

Success Education Society, Taloja organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp on 4 October 2025 in remembrance of Gandhi Jayanti. Hon. Chairman Mujahid Mohammad Jaffer (Meyar), Masdar Mullaji, Shoeb Surve and Sarfaraz Surve attended.

🟢 ULWE / PANVEL NODE | Historic Inauguration of Navi Mumbai International Airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ₹19,650 crore Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) on 8 October 2025. The first phase connects Ulwe, Panvel and Taloja, expected to transform transport, trade and employment across the region.

🟢 KAMOTHE / KALAMBOLI NODE | Missing Service Road Work Begins

CIDCO has commenced construction of the missing service road link along the Sion–Panvel Highway near Kamothe. The new stretch will ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity between Kamothe, Kalamboli and the MIDC industrial belt.

🟢 BELAPUR NODE | Citizens Raise Cleanliness Concerns

Despite Navi Mumbai’s top ranking in the Swachh Survekshan, residents of Belapur expressed dissatisfaction over garbage dumping, uneven roads and poor drain maintenance near the railway station area. NMMC has assured prompt redressal.

🟢 VASHI NODE | Cluster Redevelopment Push and Health Digitization

Two major updates this week:
1️⃣ Cluster Redevelopment Project – “Nakshatra CHS” in Sector 9 Vashi approved, valued at ₹2,500 crore.
2️⃣ ABHA Digital Health Card introduced at Vashi Civil Hospital to simplify patient registration and cut waiting time.

Conservation groups wrote to the Maharashtra CM opposing the “beautification” of DPS Lake near Nerul, home to migratory flamingos. They warn the move could disturb wetlands already under pressure from the airport project.
